Just between the “Land o’ Dreams” and broad daylight is a beautifulworld: where good wishes come true: where the poor and the lonely arerich in castles and friends: and where sorrowful folk are happy.
There you may hear the birds singing and children laughing, all daylong. The trees are full of blossoms and fruit. The sky is always blue, the grass green and soft.
Under the trees dwell the fairies, and against the blue sky is sometimesseen the sheen of angels’ wings.
On the borders of this land the real and the unreal are so strangelyblended that children are puzzled to know where the boundary lies.
Just across its borders blooms the little white ghost-flower.
It is for you, little girl.
