Sir William Beauvoir, Bart., whose lamented deathhas just occurred at Brighton, on December 28th, wasthe head and representative of the junior branch ofthe very ancient and honourable family of Beauvoir,and was the only son of the late General Sir WilliamBeauvoir, Bart., by his wife Anne, daughter of ColonelDoyle, of Chelsworth Cottage, Suffolk.
